EDUCATION
MİTAŞ Group provides Education Support Scholarship to successful students throughout Turkey during their annual education periods under the scope of the Education Support Programs.
2011
- School and game materials were provided to the Şehit Er Cevdet Çelenk Elementary School, an educational institution with limited sources in Ardahan.
2012

A campaign was initiated together with the Spinal Cord Paralytics Association of Turkey, through which the caps of plastic bottles used in our company were collected to contribute to the purchase of wheelchairs.

A blood donation campaign was organized with the cooperation of the Kızılay Blood Bank.

Laptops were purchased as a gift to the Polatlı Sakarya Elementary School, Ankara for the purpose of supporting educational activities therein.
2013
- Flag poles were provided as a gift to the Foundation for Children with Leukemia (LÖSEV).
- 158 students in need were provided one-time-only educational support.
- 3 students were given a monthly educational support scholarship.
- Books and stationery equipment were provided as a gift to the Haymana Yenice Elementary School, Ankara.
2014

2 high school students and 2 university students were provided with monthly educational support for a period of 1 year.

Under the cooperation with the Foundation for Children with Leukemia (LÖSEV), a stand was established at MİTAŞ headquarters building between December 25 and 26, where our employees bought products from the foundation.

The book collection campaign was participated for the Oltu Karabekir Secondary School, Erzurum.

Support was provided for the mine accident in Ermenek and, the amount raised was deposited to the respective bank account.
2015

Under the cooperation with the Foundation for Children with Leukemia (LÖSEV), a stand was established at MİTAŞ headquarters building between December 23 and 23, where our employees bought products from the foundation.

298 students in need were provided one-time-only educational support.

Educational support scholarship started to be provided for 46 students in need during their respective education for associate or bachelor’s degrees.
2016
- Educational support was provided on February 29 for 105 students in total.
- One-time-only educational support scholarship was provided for each of 14 students working within MİTAŞ Group Companies as an intern with an average academic grade equal to and higher than 90.
- Diapers, toys, clothes and books were given to 20 children at the age between 0 and 6 years living with their mothers who were inmates in the Closed Prison, Bursa.
- 179 students in need were provided one-time-only educational support on October 3.
- Educational support scholarship continued to be provided for 37 students in need during their respective education for associate or bachelor’s degrees.
- MİTAŞ Group provided support for the project “Running to collect support for scholarship” organized by the Scholarship Pool Working Group established under the ODTÜMİST Foundation. This support provided motivation for the Istanbul Marathon on November 13 and, 84 volunteer runners involved in the project resulting in financial assistance to the students in need.
- Under the cooperation with the Foundation for Children with Leukemia (LÖSEV), a stand was established at MİTAŞ headquarters building between December 2 and 3, where our employees bought products from the foundation. The sales from this stand aimed to earn some income to be spent for the purpose of increasing the level of awareness of the society about the difficulties the children with leukemia and their families go through. All the income from the sales through the stand was donated to the LÖSEV for the maintenance of the activities of the foundation.
2017
- MITAS Group has launched the "BÜYÜTEÇ Program" for new graduated young people from universities. This program, which is the transition bridge from education to professional business life, aims to prepare new graduates for working life by adopting business culture and to improve their professional competence and competencies.
- MİTAŞ Group has started "KEY Expert Technician Program" for new graduated technician candidates from industrial vocational and technical high schools. This program aims new graduated technicians to improve and specialize in the industry.
- MITAS Group participated in the “Campaign for Employment” organized by the Ankara Chamber of Industry and was awarded with the Employment Award by the Chamber as a result of the employment provided at the Group.
- Under the cooperation with the Foundation for Children with Leukemia (LÖSEV), stands were established at MİTAŞ Group Companies between June 19 and 21, where our employees bought products from the foundation. The sales from this stand aimed to earn some income to be spent for the purpose of increasing the level of awareness of the society about the difficulties the children with leukemia and their families go through. All the income from the sales through the stand was donated to the LÖSEV for the maintenance of the activities of the foundation.
